a string representing an XPath expression. It is evaluated at
run-time and used only if
<parameter>refentry.version.profile.enabled</parameter> is
non-zero. Otherwise, the <tag>refentry</tag> metadata-gathering logic
"hard coded" into the stylesheets is used.</para>
